Wostawea News - February 17, 2016

Hello Wostaweans. Another roller coaster week for weather – hope the groomers can work some magic on the trails.  Here are this week's updates.

Wostawea's New Website – This week Wostawea has gone live with its new website, new look and format, but same address.  http://www.wostawea.ca The framework of the site is in place, but we are still adding content. If you have any ideas or suggestions of information/pictures to add let us know.

Lunar Ski – Thursday, February 18 - 7 pm at Killarney. The trails will likely be groomed by then, expect fast conditions, good for skating.  Michel Poirier will be the group lead.

Wostawea Jackrabbit and adult learn to ski program – Lessons as per usual 10 am at Killarney Lake Park. Please consider bringing a snack for the hot chocolate break.

Wostawea Funday is on Saturday, March 5, followed by our annual Wostawea Awards ceremony social-dance event, Snowtacular, at the Delta Fredericton. Local R & B band Sugarbomb will once again be getting us Wostaweans up and dancing. As always, the biggest and most fun day of the Wostawea Schedule. Please mark this on your calendar. More info to come next week.

Wostawea Trails (UNB Woodlot and Kingswood) – The snow is hardening up so we wish the groomers good luck tomorrow, they will be working hard to loosen up the hard packed icy snow. Please check the blog site for trail condition updates: http://unbwoodlotski.blogspot.ca
