The Track Attack Program is designed to teach skiers in the “Learning to Train” stage of development (skiers ten to twelve years of age) and is the third level of the program. Program materials include a program-specific enrolment kit, an age appropriate booklet and coaching materials specific to this stage in the skier development progression. The objective is for the participants to become technically competent cross-country skiers and to utilize those skills to explore a wide range of cross-country ski activities, from backcountry excursions to ski tournaments.
The cost of the program is $40 for eight weeks of instruction and registration is available online at zone4.ca.
Skis can be rented for the season from Radical Edge on Westmorland Street, Fredericton. There is a subsidy available for those who want to rent both classic and skate skis.
